In my role as Customer Success Manager at GetSetUp since last fall, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with many of our clients to make sure they are enjoying our many classes and social events that we provide free to older adults online. Starting in 2021, I’ve also led Good Morning America on weekday mornings. Much of the content is about those who participate – everyone takes turns talking about what is good in their life (yes, even during a pandemic). I also spend a few minutes highlighting what is new on the GetSetUp schedule.
Sometimes I’ve also featured guest speakers, people such as David Dring who created the Virtual Senior Center and Wendl Kornfeld, who developed a Community as Family model for seniors who wish to create or expand their group of social connections as they age.
